General questions

Are the murals genuine originals or unique pieces?
All murals on offer are produced using the digital printing process. Every mural (except outlet murals) is produced for you when you order it. Just in time.

Will the murals look the same on my wall at home as they do on my screen?
Screens are so-called self-illuminators. They show our murals as the color, contrast and brightness settings of your screen dictate. Our murals are not self-illuminators (with the exception of LED images), but are illuminated by light sources such as daylight or room lamps. The real mural can therefore not match the digital image on your screen 100%.

How can I visualize the different surfaces?
You will find informative videos and detailed descriptions for each finish on the product page. Simply click on the text below the desired finish, for example "More information about canvas".

How are the sizes of the formats to be understood?
On the item detail pages, we always state the width first and then the height. Width x height



Can I get a portrait mural in landscape format or a landscape mural in portrait format?
Yes, this is generally possible. However, please contact us in advance with your request. We will then promptly check whether and how the portrait mural will look in landscape format.

Do you also offer individual format sizes and custom-made products?
Yes, in addition to our standard formats, we can also produce customized wall murals for you. Please contact us by phone or e-mail if you would like a customized mural.

Mirror wall murals on acrylic glass?
Acrylic glass wall murals have a high-gloss surface. In rooms with large window fronts and light sources in close proximity to the mural, reflections may occur depending on the viewing angle.

What is lamination?
Lamination is the process of firmly joining two layers of different or identical materials together. This production technique is used for our high-gloss pictures. A sheet of aluminum dibond is laminated under the acrylic glass sheet. This ensures dimensional stability and enhanced product quality.
What do I need to consider when hanging the mural?
When hanging the mural, make sure that the surface of the picture does not come into contact with hard surfaces (stone, tiles, etc.) or pointed, sharp-edged objects (nails, screws, etc.). If possible, use soft cloth gloves when hanging. This will prevent fingerprints and handprints on the picture surface. Avoid overheating the mural at all times. We do not recommend hanging in places with direct proximity to radiators, fireplaces, stoves, hot light sources or excessive sunlight (conservatory). We also do not recommend hanging outdoors, as weather-related environmental influences can affect the stability of the picture over time.

Can I hang my mural in the bathroom?
Yes, you can hang our murals in the bathroom if there is sufficient ventilation. Please note that some picture variants are partly made of wood. Wood is a natural product and changes its shape over time if the room climate is too humid. This can affect the stability of the picture. Our LED illuminated pictures do not have IP44 certification and are therefore expressly not suitable for use in damp rooms.

Order

Where can I change my preferred payment method?
Log in to your customer account. Then click on the "Payment methods" field under "My account". There you can set your preferred payment method.

Can I have my order sent to a different delivery address?
Yes, just enter an additional delivery address in your customer account under "Addresses". The addresses you have entered then only need to be marked accordingly as "Standard delivery address" and "Standard billing address".
Can I change my order at a later date?
Please contact us if you would like to change your order at a later date. In the case of minor changes, such as a change of surface, your current order can remain valid. More extensive changes, such as a format change, mean that we will have to cancel the current order and you will have to place a new order.

How can I cancel my order?
Please send us an e-mail to shop@kollektion-wiedemann.de confirming in writing that you wish to cancel your order.
When will my order arrive?
We ship your order approximately eight to ten working days after we receive it. As a rule, your order will then be delivered one to two days later.

How much does shipping cost?
Our murals are shipped free of charge.
The return costs for a revocation/return can be found in the following table based on the longest edge of your mural in centimeters:

Can I also receive my order on Saturday?
As standard, our transport service providers deliver on weekdays from Monday to Friday. Shipments sent by DHL are sometimes delivered on Saturdays. However, this is not under our control, but is the responsibility of regional DHL logistics.

Is there anything I need to bear in mind for delivery?
As with every parcel delivery, we ask you to check the integrity of the parcel carefully in the presence of the delivery person.
How are the murals shipped?
Depending on their size, our murals are shipped using DHL, TNT, Hermes, DPD, UPS or a forwarding agent. This ensures that your artwork is transported safely and reliably.

Care

How do I care for my mural?
For dusting, we recommend cleaning with standard feather duster products. Preferably with dust-magnetic properties. Do not use solvent-based liquids such as alcohol, chemicals, abrasive cleaners, harsh detergents, degreasing washing-up liquids, glass cleaners, scouring pads or brushes - these could irreparably damage the picture surface. Instead, use a lint-free, dry microfiber cloth.

Return

I don't like the mural I ordered. How can I return it?
It is possible to withdraw from the purchase contract within 30 days of receiving the goods if you are not happy with them. The buyer bears the costs for the return shipment. The buyer can organize the return shipment himself through a logistics service provider he trusts or instruct us to collect the goods. The costs for return/collection by us can be found here.

I have received the wrong mural. What now?If the delivered mural differs from your order (be it in format, surface, motif, etc.), we kindly ask you to do the following: Take a photo of the mural and please send us the photo together with your order details (name, address, receipt number) by e-mail. We will check your request as soon as we receive your e-mail.
After consultation, we will usually organize the collection of the faulty picture and send you the correct mural immediately.
My order arrived damaged. What do I do now?
To ensure a smooth process in the event of damage, please send us an e-mail with the following information:
- Take detailed photos of the damage and the outer packaging. Use different angles as well as close-ups and close-ups. Such visual evidence often says more than a thousand words and helps us to assess the damage. Please also make sure that the photos are sharp.
- Explain the circumstances of the damage briefly and precisely. How, when and where was the damage discovered?
We will deal with your request as quickly as possible.
Can I return a custom-made product?
According to § 312g, para. 2 no. 1 BGB, there is no right of withdrawal for custom-made products. This applies to all goods which are not prefabricated and for the manufacture of which an individual selection or determination by the consumer is decisive or which are clearly tailored to the personal needs of the consumer.

Which payment methods do you offer?
We offer payment in advance, Amazon Pay or PayPal. Payment via PayPal includes the options Purchase on account and payment by credit card (VISA, Mastercard). For payment in advance, please use the following bank details:

Where is my invoice?
The invoice is usually enclosed with your order. You will find it in the delivery note pocket, which is stuck to the shipping carton. For orders with a different delivery address, we will send the invoice by letter to the specified billing address. If you have not received an invoice, please contact us by telephone on +49 5121 / 95 75 680 or by e-mail.
